Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Barbara Armstrong appointed to serve on CACCE Board of Directors

SPARTANBURG, SC (October 16, 2017)…The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) announced their 2018 Board of Directors at their 2017 Annual Management Conference held last week in Spartanburg, SC.Barbara Armstrong – President/CEO of the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce was appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for 2018.  Charles Hardin, President/CEO of the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce currently serves on this board.

CACCE is the professional development organization for chamber of commerce executives and staff members in North and South Carolina.  CACCE equips chamber of commerce professionals with leadership skills and tools to build innovative chambers.  The organization was formed in 1994 when the North and South Carolina state chamber associations merged.


Since Barbara Armstrong joined the Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce last year, the chamber has seen an amazing resurgence.  The Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce staff consists of Kim Edmisten – Board Chair, Barbara Armstrong – President/CEO, Joshua J. S. Marsh – Director of Project Development and Events, Faith Calloway – Manager of Membership Services, Libby Killian – Community Information Specialist, Steve Rauchfuss – Director of Sales and Abigail Taylor – Manager of Tourism Development.  An amazing staff…
