Caldwell Chamber 2017 Interns Announced

LENOIR, NC (May 19, 2017)…The great Steve Martin once said “Be so good they can’t ignore you.”  We at the Caldwell Chamber believe this quote perfectly summarizes our incoming 2017 Summer interns.

Corbin Coffey was born and raised in Lenoir and graduated from Hibriten High School in 2014.  Currently, Corbin is attending High Point University and pursuing a major in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing.  He is very excited to be an intern for the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce and to connect with local leaders.

Jeimy Mejia is a rising sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Her concentration is International Business and Philosophy with a Pre-Law track and a minor in Communications.  Jeimy was born in Long Island, New York and was raised in Caldwell County. She is a proud 2016 alumni of Caldwell Early College.  Her goals in working at the chamber are to gain valuable experiences in networking with business owners and leaders in the Caldwell community.

The Caldwell Chamber of Commerce thrives by involving young professionals in our program of work.  We encourage our young professional community to connect with our new interns as they grow in their capacity to work with new businesses and entrepreneurs.  Additionally, we encourage the business leaders who have provided leadership and guidance in this community for years to connect with these great young professionals as they grow.
