Caldwell Baptist Association September 2016 Events…reminder for Registration Requirements

LENOIR, NC (September 8, 2016)…The Caldwell Baptist Association wants to remind you about the registration requirements for select September 2016 Events.

Media Library Book Fair
The Corner Stone Christian Book Store will host this year’s second book fair for church librarians on Monday, September 12. The event begins at 6:00pm with a light supper at the store deli. Library staff will be presented a $5 voucher to be used to purchase books. Come support your local bookstore and stock up your library. Your readers will thank you.

Romping for Missions
Must Register by Friday, September 9
This event formerly called Men & Boys Field Event will take place on Saturday, September 17 from 9am to 1pm at Lakeview Baptist Church, 325 Shasta Lane, Lenoir. The theme will be Firefighting. Participants will learn knot tying, work their way through an obstacle course, and be part of a firefighting bucket brigade. Participants will probably get wet, so come prepared. A message from God’s Word will be shared and lunch will be served. This event, for all men and boys, is free but reservations are needed to make necessary preparations. To make your reservation, please call the Baptist Center (758-4081) or contact dtownsend@caldwellbaptist.org by Friday, September 9.

Praise Sing
Must register by Monday, September 12
Praise Sing will be Monday, September 26 at 7:00pm at Pooveys Chapel Baptist Church. Choirs must register by September 12 and will be placed in the order that the registrations are received. Everyone is invited to attend this praise and worship service. Registration Form

See You at the Pole Rally
Must register by Friday, September 16
The See You at the Pole (SYATP) Rally encourages students to get excited about attending the SYATP event at their school. This student-led rally with prayer, music, drama, video, and giveaways will be Tuesday, September 27, 7:00pm at Day 3 Church. Bring a group from your church and fill Day 3 to capacity.

Do you have a student group or soloist from your church that would like to perform at the rally? If so fill out this Registration Form and return it to the Caldwell Baptist Association by Friday, September 16.

IMPORTANT: All participants MUST attend a prescheduled sound check at Day 3 Church on Monday, September 26 from 7:00-9:00pm in order to perform. Please contact John Lewis, Worship Pastor at Day 3 at 828-640-7997 to schedule your sound check.
