CHURCH NEWS
Concord Baptist Church has about 25 weeks of Lifeway bulletins that are free to anyone that would like them. There are 300 bulletins for each week. You can come by the church office at 74 Falls Avenue, Granite Falls to pick them up.
First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss will be celebrating Homecoming on Sunday, February 19 at 10:00 AM. The guest speaker will be Chris Hefner.

The Annual Baptist State Convention Disciple-Making Conference will be held on February 20 at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Robby Gallaty will be the keynote speaker. For more information and to register click here.
North Carolina Baptist Aging Ministry will be having a Natural Discipleship Training for Seniors on February 23 in Thomasville, NC. For more information click on the link.
Baptists on Mission Rally for region 7 will be held on Thursday, February 23 at Sulphur Springs Church, 116 Patterson Rd, Hiddenite. Supper begins at 5:50 PM and the program at 6:30. Registration is due one week before rally. Click here to register.
Baptists on Mission will be offering Construction Skills Training to teach volunteers how to hang and finish drywall, build wheelchair ramps, lay vinyl plank flooring and more. Each training is from 9 am – 3 pm. Cost is $10 for the day and $21 for overnight. Participants can click here to sign up. The training will take place February 25 at Red Springs Mission Camp, March 11 at Charity Rebuild Center, and March 25 at Shelby Mission Camp.

North Carolina Baptist Aging Ministry will have an Aging Well Conference on March 30 at the Buncombe Baptist Association in Asheville. The cost is $10 which includes a catered lunch. For more information and to register click on the link.

The Ministry Assistant for the Caldwell Baptist Association will be retiring October 27 of this calendar year. Knowing the difficulty of finding qualified employees we are already working to fill this position with the hope that a person can be hired before the retirement, allowing the new person to shadow our current Ministry Assistant prior to October 27th. Our hope is that we can find a qualified person to fill this opening within our Caldwell Baptist Association. We are, however, open to applicants from outside our county.
