BETHLEHEM, NC (February 12, 2018)…It is often said that “laughter is the best medicine,” and it’s true! Laughter releases stress, improves your mood, boosts immunity and can even relieve pain. In Proverbs 17:22, the Bible says: “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”
Bethlehem Baptist Church is taking that scripture seriously and invites you to an evening of laughter on Sunday, February 25, 2018. The second annual “Proverbs 17:22 Night & Chili Cook-Off” will be held in the church fellowship hall beginning at 4pm.
Those present will enjoy a program of humor, music and skits, as well as a little fun and tasty competition as they sample entries in the Chili Cook-Off.
Getting into the building may look a little confusing due to construction, but just follow the signs to park behind the building. Entrances from the parking area are to the far left and far right. Guest parking is available near the building, and greeters will welcome you just inside the door.
