Authorities looking for information about fire that may have been intentionally set

LENOIR, NC (June 19, 2018)…Caldwell County Sheriff’s deputies, as well as the Caldwell County Fire Marshal’s Office are seeking information about a fire that appears to have been intentionally set. On June 9th, Gamewell Fire and Rescue, along with Collettsville Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire at 3469 Playmore Beach Road. The Caldwell County Fire Marshal’s Office arrived shortly thereafter. After investigation, it appears the fire may have been intentionally set. No one was hurt in the fire.
