August Coffee with the Curator set for Wednesday, August 9th

LENOIR, NC (August 5, 2017)…Please join us at the Caldwell Heritage Museum on Wednesday, August 9th at 10:00am for our August Coffee with the Curator.  Our own Mr. Leslie “Sonny” Hines, along with Mr. Bob Holland, will be presenting “Caldwell Raptor Migrations.”  Both are students of birds and their migrations and will share information on raptor migration both locally and nationally, with particular emphasis on hawks and other raptor family members.  Both Mr. Hines and Mr. Holland are members of a local bird watching group who take part in an annual counting project under the auspices of the Hawk Migration Association of North America.

Coffee and light pastries will be provided. The event is free though a $5 donation is requested but not required. For more information, please call 828-758-4004.
