CALDWELL COUNTY, NC (December 29, 2017)…Cold wave possible. An arctic air mass will move into the area Sunday and remain in place towards the end of the week. This will result in daily temperatures up to 15 degrees below normal for several days in a row, creating the potential for prolonged dangerously cold conditions. (By the National Weather Service.)
