Animal Control Decreases Adoption Fees

LENOIR, NC (August 17, 2018) — Caldwell County Animal Control (829 Fairview Dr SW, Lenoir) will be decreasing the price of their adoptions fee from $75 to $35 until August 31st.

Animal Control is regulated by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, in order to stay in compliance, minor upgrades will be conducted to repair the floors and paint in the kennel interiors.

Starting August 30th, Animal Control will have limited services, emergency calls only, and will not be taking animals until renovations are complete. Beginning September 10th, Animal Control will be closed due to shelter renovation.

The adoption fee includes spay or neuter of the animal you choose, a one (1) year rabies vaccination, a physical examination and a health vaccination.

Adoption viewing hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 4:45 PM Every 2nd Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
