AMERICAN PICKERS To Film In North Carolina…possibly in our area

NEW YORK, NY…Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team are excited to return to North Carolina! They plan to film episodes of the hit series AMERICAN PICKERS throughout the region this fall.

AMERICAN PICKERS is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique ‘picking’ on History. The hit show follows Mike and Frank, two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.

As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the Pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.

Mike and Frank have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them. AMERICAN PICKERS is looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure. If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, send us your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to: americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-old-rust.

AMERICAN PICKERS is produced by Cineflix Productions for History. New episodes air Wednesdays at 9pm EST on History.

Casting Associate for the American Pickers on the History Channel Cat Raynor told us that “Our travel schedule at the moment is not set. We will be in the state at the end of November, but where exactly we go depends entirely on the response we get from collectors in each area. Once we being to connect with collectors, we will know more!”  Raynor also stated, “The American Pickers, Mike and Frank, are heading to North Carolina this fall and we’re looking for leads throughout the region, specifically interesting people with interesting items and lots of them! We’d love to spread the word in your area as soon as possible, so the sooner people with collections reach out to us the better. Please make sure people who are interested reach out to us on our phone 1-855-OLD-RUST (653-7878), or our email, which is AmericanPickers@cineflix.com.”  There has been talk of them visiting the Boone/Blowing Rock area and even Caldwell County.
