Caldwell Humane Society to Host Bark in the Park

Special to the Caldwell Journal (by Laura Sedlacek – 03/29/2017)…Caldwell Humane Society, an all-volunteer group that provides low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinics to reduce pet overpopulation in Caldwell county, is holding its annual fundraiser Bark in the Park on Saturday, April 8th. Bark in the Park starts at 12 noon and takes place at Redwood Park in Hudson. Rain location is the Caldwell County Fairgrounds.

The annual event includes dog-friendly games such as Best Trick, Pet and Owner Look a Like, and Frosty Paws (ice cream for dogs) Eating contests, as well as the ever-popular Dog Walk where you can collect pledges from family and friends for you and your dog(s) to walk. There will also be concessions for sale along with our one of a kind baked goods sale featuring some of the best homemade cookies, cakes and bread you’ve ever tasted. Plus you won’t want to miss bidding on items at the Silent Auction. Entertainment will be provided by Jonathan Beal on acoustic guitar.

All funds raised will be used to provide low cost Spay/Neuter Clinics and educational programs in the schools and local community.
