LENOIR, NC (8 pm November 25, 2018 – OUTAGE UPDATE) — Blue Ridge Energy has all power restored as of 8 pm Sunday that occurred from damage caused by Saturday’s icy weather.
Over 260 areas of damage were sustained on the cooperative’s electric system, primarily in Caldwell County. Outages began at 2:21 am Saturday, with the height of the outages occurring at 6 am Saturday when 5,378 members were without power.
