Caldwell Humane Society’s Bark in the Park by Laura Sedlacek

LENOIR, NC (April 3, 2019) — Caldwell Humane Society will host their 15th annual Bark in the Park on Saturday, May 18th at Redwood Park in Hudson starting at noon.  Rain location to be announced.

This annual event held by the Caldwell Humane Society includes dog-friendly games such as Best Trick, Pet and Owner Look Alike, and Frosty Paws, a popular ice cream eating contest for dogs.  The fun filled Dog Walk is where you can collect pledges from family and friends for you and your dog(s) to walk.  There will be Concessions for sale and a Silent Auction.  Entertainment to be provided by Jonathan Beal of Second Shift on acoustic guitar.

Caldwell Humane Society, an all-volunteer group that provides low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinics to reduce pet overpopulation in Caldwell County holds Bark in the Park as its annual fundraiser.  All funds raised will be used to provide low cost Spay/Neuter Clinics as well as educational programs in local schools and community.
