Patterson School Incubator Farm is hosting a series of workshops

PATTERSON, NC (February 13th, 2018)…The Patterson School Incubator Farm is hosting a series of workshops on sustainable farm skills and traditional arts topics. Each class is a hands-on experience guided by local experts, to bring to life different useful techniques for the modern farm or homestead.

The Incubator Farm is a developing community of farmers, food entrepreneurs, and aspiring homesteaders, based out of the historic Patterson School property in Caldwell County. We invite everyone to come see the transformation in process! All workshops are Saturdays from noon to four, and $40 per person, unless otherwise noted. Sign up with a friend for $5 off! You can buy tickets online through our website at www.pattersonschoolfoundation.org/events, or by contacting benloomis@pattersonschoolfoundation.org.

We’ll be kicking off the season with a community tree planting day, for the first part of the food forest our community of donors funded at the end of last year. We’re inviting everyone to come establish a variety of fruit and nut trees with us, and learn about the Incubator Farm’s big plans for 2018.
