HUDSON, NC (March 20, 2017)…Denise Riley, age 51, of Hudson went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, Hudson. She was the daughter of Robert and Carolyn Todd Edmisten.
Denise was a member of Chapel of Grace Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was active in the music program.
She is preceded in death by one sister Robin Edmisten Haire.
Mrs. Riley is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Riley of the home; three sons, Drew Lalonde and wife Cheyene of Forks WA, Jerry Riley Jr. of Lenoir, and James Riley of Conover; one sister, DeAnna Edmisten Knight and husband Mikeal of Lenoir; one brother John Paul Edmisten and wife Lacie of Lenoir; three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Chapel of Grace Baptist Church, corner of Virginia Street and Harper Ave, Lenoir, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. The service will follow at 4:30 PM with Rev. Christian Knight and Rev. Tyler Knight.
Burial will be private.
