Multi-Agency Operation nets meth dealers

LENOIR, NC (June 7, 2018)…Sheriff Alan C. Jones has announced on June 6, 2018, Narcotic Agents with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office Ice Unit, Lenoir Police Department, and Officers with Granite Falls Police Department conducted an operation which netted two methamphetamine dealers.  Kelvis Blake Dula, age 21, and Reva Ashley Bolick, age 21, were both arrested and charged by Sheriff’s Office Ice Agents with Trafficking Methamphetamine by Possession and Trafficking Methamphetamine by Transportation.  If convicted, the crimes carry mandatory prison sentences. Agents have been investigating the two suspects for months under suspicion of trafficking drugs. 

After conducting surveillance, the suspects were followed to an undisclosed location in Granite Falls in a Toyota Corolla.  Agents had reason to believe they were there to conduct a drug transaction and approached them.  They were taken into custody without incident.  Agents searched the vehicle and seized approximately 2 ounces of crystal methamphetamine, a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol and $605 in cash.  The methamphetamine has a street value of $8,550 according to North Carolina State Drug Guidelines. 

Reva Ashley Bolick

Dula was charged with Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Possession and Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Transportation.  He was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond on the charges and has a first appearance in District Court in Lenoir on June 7, 2018.
