HICKORY, NC (May 13, 2017)…Mayor Glenn Rudolph (Rudy) Wright, Jr., 69, of Hickory, passed away, Thursday, May 11, 2017.
A celebration of Mayor Wright’s life will be held on Union Square in Hickory under the sails on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Whit Malone officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall at First Presbyterian Church in Hickory.
Anyone who is unable to park and walk to Union Square will be provided a continuously running shuttle service from First Presbyterian Church. Those using the shuttle must park at the church anytime from 10:15 a.m. which will run until celebration begins on Union Square. Immediately following the celebration, the shuttle will transport riders to the church.
