Caldwell Journal Bookshelf Opens…featuring a book from a local author that will be donating the proceeds

CALDWELL COUNTY, NC (December 1, 2017)…Today the Caldwell Journal announces a new feature of our website, The Caldwell Journal Bookshelf. This is a listing of e-book selections offered for sale by local authors through the Journal. In time, we hope to offer a broad selection of material across many genres to our readers. The Bookshelf will become a great opportunity for our readers, libraries, visitors, and newcomers to the area to connect to the work of our local authors in a convenient digital format.

The first title being offered for sale is a new book from New Plymouth Press, LLC by Dan Rundquist, who has been a contributor to the Caldwell Journal for some time. The PDF format of his book, Tears For Byzantium is being offered exclusively through the Journal! Mr. Rundquist has designated all proceeds from the sale of this title to benefit the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 6 in Hudson, NC. Rundquist remarked, “I am very happy to be able to make an impact to help those who have served our nation with honor, and I am thankful to Mark at the Journal for the distribution of this digital format version of the book. It’s exciting to be the first author to start up the Caldwell Journal Bookshelf.” Hard copies of this title will be offered by New Plymouth Press when print copies soon become available.

We will keep our readers posted as new titles are added to our new Bookshelf feature.

Contact Mark Jackson if you are a local author and would like to have your work listed with the Journal.

The new Caldwell Journal Bookshelf wouldn’t be possible without the assistance from Dan Rundquist…Thank You Dan!!!
